Use this recipe to make a quick & delicious party dip or snack for your family. This truly is the Best Queso Ever! This is a great make-ahead item to heat up the day of your event.

Best Queso Ever in a bowl

I got this recipe idea from a friend on a playdate. I and a few other moms had been at gymnastics for a few hours and had scheduled a lunchtime playdate that same day. My friend whipped up this dip before I even knew she was making anything. I was so surprised how delicious 4 ingredients could be. I have since served it at bible study and dinner parties and it’s been a hit every time!

Pro-tips:

  • If the Best Queso Ever is too spicy for your children you can add 1/4 to 1/2 block of cream cheese to cool it down. Add it to the heated queso and stir until incorporated
  • Make sure you have a lot of tortilla chips and supervision! If you are alone with the Best Queso Ever, you’re going to eat it all!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Ground Beef (You can also use Ground Turkey)
  • 1 tbsp Taco Seasoning
  • 1 – 23oz Jar of Your Favorite Queso
  • 1 Avocado
  • 1 Bag of Tortilla Chips

Instructions:

1. Pour the queso from the jar into a microwave-safe bowl. Heat it in 20 seconds increments until heated all the way through. You can heat it up in a pan as well if you prefer not to use a microwave.

2. Put the ground beef in a pan and add the seasoning. Mix the meat and seasoning, then cook on medium heat until browned.

This was amazing! I made it for my family (and added the cream cheese to lessen the heat) and they loved it! We ate it with tortilla chips and also made mini burritos. Giant hit with my family! Thanks for the recipe!
